Breaking Bread, Building Bonds is a citywide initiative from Mayor Eric Adams. It aims to help end hate by bringing people together to see common bonds.

This initiative is led by:

  • The Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes
  • The Mayor's Community Affairs Unit

Through this initiative, community leaders can host dinners and conversations across the city. These dinners are with ten everyday people from New York City's diverse communities.

These efforts seek to:

  • Build understanding
  • Unite New Yorkers regardless of their background
  • Aid in ending bias, hate, and discrimination

You can learn more and sign-up to host or attend a dinner.
