If you previously lived in a homeless shelter, you are encouraged to attend a Homebase information session about aftercare support services and resources for tenants. At the workshop, you will get help to plan to keep your permanent housing.

You can attend an information session if you left a homeless shelter through one of these programs:

  • CityFHEPS rental assistance
  • NYCHA (New York City Housing Authority)
  • FHEPS (Family Homelessness & Eviction Prevention Supplement)
  • EPVA/MRT (Eviction Prevention for Vulnerable Adults/Medicaid Redesign Team)

Homebase office locations offer services over the phone, through a video system, and/or in-person. You are strongly encouraged to call the Homebase office before visiting.

Call a Homebase office in your borough for more information or to schedule an appointment to complete an intake assessment. The offices are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
