City Agency Offices
City offices will be closed for in-person services on Monday, February 23.
Courts and Eviction Proceedings
Courthouses in New York City will be closed on Monday, February 23, except for emergency applications. On Monday:
- Criminal Court arraignment parts will open at 2 PM within the five boroughs of New York City only.
- NYC Family Court emergency applications will be heard in Criminal Court.
- For Emergency applications in Supreme Court civil cases, call (800) 430-8457, or email emergency@nycourts.gov.
Jurors should not report.
No evictions will be conducted between February 23 and February 27. No defaults will be taken. If you are unable to appear for a scheduled court date, your matter will be rescheduled, and you will be notified of the new date.
DOF Business Centers
All Department of Finance (DOF) Business Centers will be closed Monday, February 23.
HRA Benefits Access Centers
All public-facing benefits access locations of the NYC Department of Social Services and the Human Resources Administration (HRA) will be closed on Monday, February 23. You can still apply for benefits from home through Access HRA. You can also call to complete your interview by phone.
OATH Offices
Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) office locations will be closed to the public on Monday, February 23.
All pre-scheduled remote hearings will go forward as planned.
