Retail Laundries no longer need a Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) license. Local Law 80 of 2021 ended this requirement. This is as of December 31, 2021.

As this is no longer a requirement, DCWP does not accept applications.

This repeal is only for Retail Laundries.

It does not impact the:

• Industrial Laundry License
• Industrial Laundry Delivery License

Businesses still need to comply with:
